Product Description
Phosphoglycolate phosphatase, also known as PGP, is detected in all tissues including red cells, lymphocytes and cultured fibroblasts (at protein level). The catalytic activity of PGP is 2-phosphoglycolate + H2O = glycolate + phosphate. The highest activities occur in skeletal muscle and cardiac muscle. Recombinant human PGP protein, fused to His-tag at N-terminus, was expressed in E.coli and purified by using conventional chromatography techniques.
